The wheels on the bus go round and round

I realised that I don't upload pictures very often when blogging. Or at least I used to not...

This week, I decided to show you some of the pictures I've taken with my camera. Reason being that lately I've been practising light grafiti [Google image that to see what they are]. So I thought I'd upload some of my light grafiti attempts and others too.

What is going on with the world these days?

My mom is probably one of the few mothers in the world that encourages her children to blog. Lately, she has been bugging my sister to write and post something in her blog, reason being so that she will be able to remember how her childhood was like.

This got me thinking as to why I started my blog in the first place. Quite frankly, I can't remember, & seeing as I'm too lazy to search through the archives and reread my very first post in search of the beginnings, I'm just going to toggle with my options.

1. I like writing lame things

2. I want to be able to look back and laugh at myself

3. I want to use this power of influence to educate mankind on global issues

4. I'm a vainpot who always wants to stand in the limelight.

5. [Sorry, I ran out of options]


Anyways, I've decided to experiment a little bit. So today I'm going to attempt to 'educate mankind on global issues' and see how that works out for me!

ps. I'm sure there's a part of you saying "What?? You mean the real post hasn't begun yet!? Sigh..."

The first part in writing something to educate the citizens of the world is to find a topic deemed suitable. After much contemplation and thought [mind you, prying through my mind for topics isn't an easy task], I finally settled on... Soil Contamination!!

Pada alaf digital yang penuh dengan pancaroba ini, Malaysia sedang mengorak langkah ke arah mencapai kemajuan serta pembangunan negara. Negara kita kini dikatakan duduk sama rendah, berdiri sama tinggi dengan negara dunia pertama yang lain. Namun, dalam keghairahan membangunkan negara, isu pencemaran tanih tidak harus dianaktirikan. Kini, kita sebagai penghuni dunia tidak sedar tentang seriusnya isu pencemaran tanih. Oleh hal yang demikian, kita patutlah mengembleng tenaga dalam usaha mengatasi kemelut yang mampu mengancam kepupusan manusia dalam dunia ini.

Okay, maybe I was a tad bit over exaggerating on the mengancam kepupusan manusia part.


Basically, soil contamination is where the soil is contaminated by substances that its not meant to be contaminated with.

See this graph? It's supposed to tell us about the many unwanted substances in the soil. At first, I didn't quite understand. So the only reason I uploaded this picture is so that you wouldn't feel so bored reading words only. COLOUR!!!

On top of that, soil contamination is also due to irresponsible cows. By that I don't mean figurative cows, I mean literal cows.

Why can't these cows learn some dicipline?? Or to at least do it in the bushes??

So because of these animals-that-have-no-sense-of-discretefulness-and-have-never-thought-of-wearing-diapers, the earth's ecosystem becomes imbalanced. How, you may ask? You see, only one patch of the grass gets nutrients to grow! Then throughout the green pasture, there will only be a circle of approximately 5cm radius, that grows tall. So the other grass-es nearby cannot produce enough auxins [growth hormones] to compete with the tall grass. Sigh... poor thing...

Despite it all, soil contamination does bring about some good. No caption necassary...
